AV Club Film Productions is a dynamic duo comprised of Aiden Nelson and Violet Dempsy, who flourish as a collaborative force within student filmmaking. Together, they fuse Violet's adeptness in directing and cinematography with Aiden's prowess in post-production, forging a distinct and innovative partnership.

Their latest project, ‘Cue Card Girl,’ is a short documentary that delves into the fascinating world of Saturday Night Live during the 1980s, capturing the unique experiences of Eileen O'Brien, the sole female cue card girl at the time, brimming with endearing anecdotes about her interactions with illustrious performers. Through Eileen's story, we celebrate her trailblazing spirit and highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion within the entertainment industry.

AV Club is excited to announce that ‘Cue Card Girl’ has been accepted into the 2023 Denver Film Festival, Los Angeles Student Film Festival, Boden International Film Festival, and Lift Off Network Sessions by Sessions Global Film Festival.
